This is a sewing machine work shop we will be using water soluble paper with silk tops witch we will make in to paper stitch in to them to make in to a fabric. This can then be used to make pendants cuffs etc, or book covers. The silk hankies we will be making  with stitch  and forming it in to small bowls

Free Machine Embroidery Plus Cords

On this workshop we will be making a piece of fabric with silk tops or snippets of fabric, then stiching into it with the machine. We will also be making machine cords. The piece of fabric you make will be big enough to create a scissors keeper and a brooch. With the cord I will teach you how to get a good finished edge to your work.

Cost of workshop will be £35.00 + £5 materials

This is a sewing machine work shop can be done either by free machine embroidery or with automatic stitch on the machine to form a grid ( you will need a fairly strong sewing machine) to do this  as we will be layering up lots of yarn and stitching over them  to make a fabric or scarf .The stitching does take a lot of time. When it is finished it will need to go in a washing machine short wash at 30

Cost £ 35.00 work shop  I will bring yarns on the day if you need them.

Silk Paper

This is an embellisher work shop  We will make silk paper and using the embellisher with the pre felt and the silk paper make scarf’s, scissor/eye glass cases maybe brooches It will also involve some wet felting. You may wish to bring your sewing machine to finish your work.

Flower Workshop

In this workshop we will be working by hand sitting around a large table, making flowers and a hart using felting needles. We will also knitting with wire and wool and crochet a small flower. The wool/yarns we will be using will be Colinette .
The cost of the workshop will include your materials.

Get to Know your Sewing Machine

We will be doing test pieces to adjust tension and stitch and going on to make a decorative cushion cover using machine embroidery and organza. You will need to bring your own sewing machine.

Cost of Workshop: £26.00 plus £10.00

We will be making Fabric from Felt, Silk, Spectrum and Chiffon Scarves, sewn down with a sewing machine. A heat gun will also be used. See Gifts Page for photographs.

Cost of Workshop: £26.00 plus materials*

We will also have other workshops on other days. Knitting and Crochet with beads and wire. Phone or Email for Dates.

Please Note: Sewing machines must be in good working order. In the event of your machine not working or breaking down, there will be a charge of £5 if you need to use one of my machines.
